55 years of painting! We are all blessed to know the artist in you and all that you represent. Your paintings tell of your rich heritage, seeing the beauty and hearing the melodies in every stroke of your brush. Behind all the pain you found a unique way of expressing your hopes and dreams through your paintings. When I look at your paintings I see stories and I see your passion. Congratulations Elisha! Good morning Elisha:It’s amazing what you’ve developed, through your efforts & talents in art, especially in a town as expansive as Miami. Quite a coupe’ to have the Mayor/city’s endorsement too! You’re an inspiration to us all, Elisha, to follow your dreams, passions, and keep believing, all to keep achieving! Thank you (as always) for sharing with me! Amy

Dear Elisha, You are a gifted and sensitive man — rare indeed! Thanks for letting me into your creative world. It’s wonderful . . . You are so very talented in 3-D ways. So many dimensions of emotion, artistic gifts, expression and truth-seeking. Not to mention your courage. . . you listened to that spirit within you rather than the noisy voices that always try to drown artists out. I LUV IT! Your paintings are incredible! Your song “My Dream” is so beautiful . . . I would love to hear the melody that goes with it. You inspire me greatly! Thanks, my friend!Best wishes, Linda

Dear Elisha. Your message is really kind and I am so grateful for your courtesy and your appreciation: you are a good and gentle person, so rare in this world. I have a poor knowledge of the good manners, as I have been grown up in a difficult family, and I have a bad story at my back. That is why I am so involved in social and political actions. But your words are like a cup of clean, pure fresh water in the desert for me. Shalom, Francis (Mr.)

Dear Elisha,You are always a good writer and considerate. I would like to thank you again for your efforts, and agree with your scope of expectations, and great to meet up. I am participating in other shows too, but unsure if I’ll make those receptions. Cost, cost, cost as we know. But of course hope to, even if just myself-which is a bit easier of course. None the less, loved making it to New York, and my kids had a great time. I will go through pictures we took and look for a decent one or two to send when I get a chance.Thank you, Shawn Man

Dear Elisha, Thank you so much for your supportive information and comments to the U.S. Biennale artists. I appreciate all you do for us, and I am so happy that you are pleased with the New York Arts magazine article about the Broadway Gallery show. I will be participating in the November exhibition, and hope to finalize my arrangements with flights and hotels by the end of the month. I just returned from a Russian Art Cruise with Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, which was awesome, life-changing in some respects. Now I am so inspired to pursue my art and I am glad to have a comrade in you. Linda Perry Ledet

June 28, 2010
Dear Elisha,When somebody is doing an enormous work as you have been doing for all the artists that participated in a Florence Biennale, there is always somebody that for no reason or for an unknown reason, have to criticize the work of others and try to discredit them. You are doing something so valuable for all of us, with no selfish, giving us the opportunity to exhibit our art work in Galleries and Biennales. Don’t be discouraged in your efforts, the people that have had the opportunity to know you, have no doubt of your integrity and your good motivation to help this group of artists. I am very glad that there are many of us supporting your efforts and believing in you. I want as well to thank Eduardo Chirinos and Alicia Torres for giving us this marvelous opportunity. And, for you Elisha, thank you for all the effort that it takes to promote us among Galleries. With my best regards, Flavia D’Ascoli

Dear Elisha:It has been very kind of you helping other artists, especially the foreigner ones, inviting us for the shows, sending the Hotel addresses, etc, etc. Thanks a lot!! I just read your email about the show in Miami, and it sounds interesting, (the Nina Torres show). I have to re-read it and see if it would be possible for me to register for the exhibit. Thanks again for helping and inviting us for the shows. My best regards, Sandra Nikolai Gutierrez

June 27, 2010
I am truly grateful for the efforts that you have undertaken on our behalf Elisha and bewildered by the reaction of one person. As everyone keeps pointing out, if you don’t want to participate then simply delete the emails. Any participation in something like the Biennale causes one to be put on the receiving end of all kinds of solicitations, most of which I also just delete. They don’t insult me and I’m further grateful for Elisha’s efforts because I know from whence they come and that I can trust that they are ‘up front’ and sincere. Great letter, Ms. Berg. Please keep me on your list, Elisha!Sincerely, Ann Drosendahl

June 21, 2010
Dear Elisha!Thank you for your beautiful poem. I had no idea that you had such powerful way with words, as you do with images. This is a rare and unique quality in an artist. Often, those with a gift for visual arts such as yours are not always as eloquent with words. Some words have the power to transport you to a place with such force and power that it’s almost a physical reaction. Looking at your works, (those painted in Jerusalem), as a viewer you get a physical reaction. You convey inventive points of view that form a synthesis between abstract and figurative elements. It’s a narrative with light, but somehow utilizes abstracted and symbolic compositions that reveal a life within the sometimes clinical world of contemporary painting. Elisha, this is a new breed that invites viewers to a world full of vibrant colors and mysterious visages. Each of your works impact the viewers’ senses, awaken our emotional memory, and empower us to see the universe and beyond. A painting should not end on the canvas, and this is what your work teaches us! Seeing your poetry makes me understand your paintings even more.Susanne
